Long Beach Construction is a fully operational general construction company that specializes in custom installations, stone work, and in-house steel fabrication. Operating out of Michigan City, Long Beach Construction produces everything from lakefront city walks to custom deck builds.
The company was founded in 2012 by Freddy Woods, a Chicago native born and raised on the Southside. After serving 10 years in the Coast Guard where he did one tour in Iraq, led search and rescue for Hurricane Katrina, and was stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Freddy returned home to turn his passion for carpentry and design into his profession.
Long Beach Construction is also the parent company to Sullwood Mechanical, a full-service mechanical distributor.
